Is flossing uncomfortable for you? Then maybe you’ve been using the wrong floss. We get it! There’s so many to pick from!
Let’s dive into the different types of floss and find your ideal choice.
Multi or Mono
Nylon Multifilament floss is a strong flat strand. It is created from tiny filament Nylon that is woven together. Most prefer this floss, but it can break and fray over time.
Another option is Monofilament. It’s made of one strong strand of either teflon or polytetrafluoroethylene. The material name may trip us up, but it’s about comfort!
Wax on or Wax off
Floss that is coated with a thin layer of wax can slide between teeth easily. It silently cleans the plaque.
Unwaxed floss squeaks against your teeth. This sound shows that you’re getting rid of that plaque. If you don’t mind the sound, you’ll surely feel ‘squeaky’ clean.
Round or Flat
Round floss is quite common. It’s been around since floss first came onto the scene. But if your teeth are closer together, flat floss may be the better option.
Flavour Options
Do you want the traditional mint for the summer vibes? Or do you prefer cinnamon for the reminder of autumn? The choice is yours!
With some trial and error, you’ll surely find the floss for you. All that’s left to do is get flossing!
